Orphans and Scraps.

I'm almost up to date with these cute little blocks.

This is the second little 4 1/2" block.

The first block- microscopic flying geese.

Third block-

There's just one little problem, Houston.

Have you heard the song-"One of these things is not like the other one?"
Hmmmm, I think I may have misread the instructions!
Back to make a block the right size.  I was going to pull this one apart, but I just can't bring myself to do that.  Too much unpicking with the Crib Quilt I think!

  1. Oh My! Too bad your pretty little block came out too big! I had to remake one of the blocks, too.

I love the colors you are using. The purple and the gold really makes them sparkle.

  2. I absolutely love these blocks! So cute! Those scraps are such a nice color-contrast to the lights. Darn that you made the block the wrong size, but I am sure it will be just the right size for the orphan block quilt I see in your future!

  3. Uh Oh! Looks like it's time for a do-over, huh? I'm sure you'll find some other use for this oversized block. I just finished the 4th block she posted, and I'm finding there's a discrepancy between the pictures & the pattern that she shared - sigh - - -

  4. Oops! Pulling it apart seems like way too much hard work to me, sure it will find a home someplace else...they are very cute little blocks...
