Here's my start for Step 2 of Bonnie K Hunter's Easy Street mystery.
Flying geese are everywhere on my sewing table in many stages of their construction. These are the lucky finished ones.
I'm using red in place of Bonnie's purple, and I have shirtings for my background instead of black on white fabric.
Some of these fabrics have been in my cupboard for a very long time. Glad they finally get to see the light of day.
I find I'm looking more and more at the scraps and remembering which quilt they were originally bought for.
Please take a look at the Linky that Bonnie has put up for this weeks clues. It's great fun to see how everyone is going all over the world.

I love your red fabrics :D
ReplyDeleteYou're making it look like lots of fun! So glad you get to use up some older pieces. Makes you feel extra-good, doesn't it? I'm glad I decided to sit this one out. Challenge fabrics from the Modern Quilt Guild arrived yesterday, and I've got to get my thinking cap on for a finish by the end of January! Enjoy being on "Easy Street." (Love that name.)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors!
ReplyDeleteYour shirtings are looking cute, and the red is great. I have a pile of red to use in this quilt - I wonder what Bonnie has in store for us tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteLove your reds, adore your shirting fabrics (my personal favorites)! With everyone else, I'm looking forward to whatever Bonnie reveals tomorrow. P.S. I took a peek at your GC blocks, too. Love seeing those here or in our Flickr group. Both QALs are so much fun!
ReplyDeleteLOVE your fabrics - looking great!
